Heather (private blog, no linkee) recently tagged her readers with a "truths and a lie" meme. In a shameless attempt to be as cool as her (and some guilt over not writing more about ME ME ME with my last MeMe, here goes):
1. When I was younger, I consistently had a dream where I was frantically searching for my third nostril.
2. I'm not so good at the sharing a bedroom thing. I'm so competitive that if Chris falls asleep before I do I lay in bed with this awful "I just lost" feeling that keeps sleep at bay. My dream home has separate master suites.
3. I won $800 in a beauty pageant.
4. Since my last pregnancy I. Can. Not. Eat. Spinach.
5. Before I married Chris I had never driven longer than 30 consecutive minutes on the freeway.
6. I harbor a secret love for power suits. Black. Fitted. With just a touch of lace peeking out between the collar. Oh man. I finger one every time I'm in a department store.
7. 10:30 PM is really late at our house.
Can anyone spot the lie? (Warning: I was sneaky). Oh yeah, and I tag you.

first i thought the long driving thing...but being sneaky...i think it's the eating spinach. i can totally see the power suit thing and the separate master suites...and the early bedtime!

I hope you weren't joking about the competitive sleeping comment, because that just cracked me up too much. And seeing as we have only ever met via the internet, I have no guess as to what isn't true. I'll just wait, with interest, to find out.
I think the nostril one smells a little fishy.
I think it had to do with number 2. The lie is you don't think, "I've just lost." But, instead, "I've just won!"
when are you going to reveal the answer!
So sorry I didn't check in time to compete. I would've said beauty pageant too, not that I doubt your ability to win money by your astonishingly good looks, but that monetary amount is just what I would've changed to be tricky. I'm posting my fiction soon. I'm trying to get a video clip on, it might prove too difficult for me and my limited blogging skills.
