Wooden Families

Reading my friend Stephanie's blog with Ellie around usually results in a trip to Michaels. Especially when she saw these adorable wooden dolls.

We found the wooden game pieces at Craft Warehouse and here are the results:

Ellie's family (we still need to add hair to the girls)

She made the new baby as well "he's wearing a hood and a cape" and Daddy "has a beard"

This is the family I made for my nephew Benjamin who now has twin baby sisters! (Happy Birthday, Benjamin!)

And finally, a set for Moira:

Man, I need to learn how to take pictures

Those are so cute! What a fun idea! I love the hood and a cape. Well he kind of is wearing one, I guess...

Cute! What a great idea to do it with your kids. When I saw Steph's I immediately thought I couldn't make mine as cute. But if I let the kids make them, then they are special for them!

Benjamin LOVES his family! He played with it all day. However, he insists that he is the "green guy" (Because green's his favorite color). This means that daddy is the blue one in a dress (much to gma's dismay) and mommy is the little blue one. :) I hope the girls get feeling better soon!
