Clark's room redo

Clark's been sleeping in our closet since birth, so his birthday marked the need for a move into his own space a little farther away from Mom and Dad.

Here's what I've been up to:

Blurry dark curtain shot:
And as blackout shades:
The pride and joy:
Yup, that's an orange crib. If 4 cans of primer and 5 cans of spray paint don't turn it into an heirloom, I don't know what will. Cameron, I hope you still like orange when you have kids 'cause I'm saving it for you.

Looks stupendous!
Did you use a black-out fabric for the shade/valance? I totally need to make some of those.

Love the orange.
I think I'm getting hungry:)

Jessica,

It's made out of thick canvas that I got at a yard sale. I think it's called ducking, but I might be making that up. It's not as complete a blackout as blackout fabric, but a lot easier to sew.
