We joined my aunt's family and took Nicole hiking last Monday to celebrate Memorial day. It was gorgeous and just the right temperature. (has anyone else noticed how beautiful the colors are here when it's overcast?) Clark doesn't look so happy in the picture because he was recovering from a double ear infection, but he hummed literally the entire way up. It was delightful. Ellie and Moira ran ahead with cousins and thoroughly exhausted themselves.

That is not an easy hike with a 20+ lb. babe on your back - Way to go! I love the look out from there!

I would love to hear that humming. Poor Clark and those ear infections, what a sport to go hiking. (Way to carry him all the way:)
