Firstborn Advantage

I just finished The Firstborn Advantage and the author argues that you're a firstborn (you know, driven, stubborn, accountable, a pleaser) if you're not only the oldest in your family but also the oldest of a certain gender and/or the younger by 5 years than your next oldest sibling of the same gender. By my reasoning, that means that there are nearly 6 firstborns in my family!
