18 month clothes upgrade.

I've always wondered what age which size should match up with. All I know is that the 12 month pants are floods and the 18 month pants are usually around his knees. Luckily that smile more than makes up for it.

Random video

I love to watch my kids play when they don't realize I'm paying attention. The girls catch on too fast and start hamming it up, but it took Clark longer than I thought it would. He's surprisingly tame here, usually he's on the table. Any tips with that, ladies?

Thinks he can walk up stairs

and can't quite.
I'm so glad we don't have stairs because he thinks he can walk DOWN them as well.

Clark Walks!

Clark

He lays his head down like this on his tray and I'm sure he knows how cute he is . . .
Also, he tosses everything on the floor before telling me "all done." We're working on switching that order.

Caught in the act

Here he is on the bottom rung of the bunk bed. Chris says he caught Clark vaulting onto the bottom bunk, but he must have scared himself enough not to try it again as of late. Oh, this one's good. So he was playing in the garbage (yuck!), so I washed his hands and moved the garbage can into the laundry room, then closed the door. He pushed the chair over and I caught him trying to turn the doorknob!
And yes, he's figured out how to make a puddle on the floor with our fridge water.
He's cute but trouble!

First Birthday

This little man turned one today. Which means that he could eat all of the m'n'ms off his cake and toss the rest on the floor:
And that he was far too involved in his new toys to look at the camera:
Except when he thought the camera was either cake or present:
Just for kicks, here's a picture of the cake I made (caramel spice) and the present Ellie decorated:
There's a light bulb on each because he's obsessed with lights. "Aight" (light) was one of his first words, and showing him the switch is still the best way to get him to calm down when he wakes up cranky.

One tooth. Not even close to walking. So cute.
