You know

how when you neglect your journal for along time and then you sit down to write in it you have to explain a whole bunch of stuff and it just feels to complicated so you don't write for-ev-er. Yeah, that's me after our trip from Ohio to Washington. But, we're here. And here's some of the stuff we did (without pictures of course, because I'm still not competent enough to take two children and a camera out in public even with Christopher, my mom, my dad, my grandma, and my two younger sisters right there beside me):

Moira cut two teeth. Moira got another disgusting cold and displayed her fetching nose skills. Moira learned to crawl. Moira learned to pull up on things. Moira learned to wake up every forty five minutes all night long. Don't believe me? I could predict within a minute when she'd wake up. Chris called it "eerie" which I think was his polite way of saying perhaps she should go live somewhere else until she learns how to sleep. Oh no, that's what I kept thinking as I dragged her yet again into bed with us. Now that we're a little more settled, she's stretching it out and we're pretty sure we'll keep her.

Ellie splashed in the ocean and told her first joke (what's brown and sticky? A STICK!) and her second (Knock knock. Who's there? PINK!).
