Long lost post #1

We made it back to Ohio after the long, throw up filled drive that I will not describe in detail. We're all glad to be back to our house, although it sure feels quiet. Ellie's been running around playing with every single toy she owns. She pulls it out, shows it to me with a squeal of "Look, Mommy!" and then throws it on the floor, content to inventory all the things we left behind.

I'm trying not to be too overwhelmed with the catching up we have to do (bills, doctors appointments, preschool, grocery shopping, dusting, cleaning up the pumpkin plant that management sprayed with weed and feed and pulling out the weeds in the back that they didn't).

Chris is getting excited for school to start next Wednesday.

And Moira is falling down the bottom three stairs. More times than I'd like to admit. (Add 'buy baby gates' to my list of things to do).

They cancelled church after sacrament meeting because the meeting house smelled like floor refurnisher. And then we weren't quite sure how to fill up the extra time, so we went for a walk around Antrim Lake (with Moira yelling "Digga Dog! Woof" at every puppy we passed.) And our next door neighbors brought dinner over for us. Wasn't that nice?

I can't locate my camera cord right now (add that to my list of things to do, too) so no pictures now, but I'll post some fun ones of us in Utah when I get more organized.

This post was an email I sent to update far away family. I messed with the blogger timestamp to make the dates accurate.

i love when kids do the toy inventory. i steal my kids favorite toys (because i'm evil) and then return them a few months later... instead of buying them christmas or birthday. bwwaaahahahahahaha. ha. haha.

btw will you add me to your email list? i mean i can check it here, but maybe you don't want all of my evil comments here...
