Recap

A week ago Chris left us for a business trip to Nashville, Tennessee and while he was busy wining and dining (ok not really. Why do I think business trips are so exciting?), I stayed home with two girls who got the flu.

It was a long, hard week. Hard for me, but even more for Grandma Orton, whose floor took the brunt of Ellie's flu. BUT, we made it through and Chris is home. Moira still think its a dream come true to have him back and keeps asking "Where'd Daddy go?" whenever he steps out of the room.

My photo taking skills were lacking this week, so I snapped a few pictures before bedtime just to prove we're still around.

Here's Ellie in the aftermath of her room being used for "quiet time" one hour each day. Sanity. This week she wanted to know if she could please scream like a grandsheet (banshee). Thank goodness the park across the street welcomes grandsheets.
And sweet Moira, whose lateral incisors are right there on the surface. What a character. She makes me laugh so fast. Her newest talents include asking "How you doing, Mommy?" and "Can I hab it?" (which reminds me of a certain video clip, Nicole. Did you show it to her?)
And here's Chris looking suave in Ellie's first picture she's ever taken. The finger over the lense cap was an artistic choice to distract from Moira being immodest.

So we're here. I celebrated Chris's return by running 9.5 miles with my friend Jessica. It was perfect weather--not too hot and a light breeze. We finished in around an hour and a half and both of us felt like we could go longer.

Love your posts!
I think I know what clip you're talking about. My sister always quotes it: Can I have your number?
