PhD

We flew to Columbus last weekend for a very short celebration of Chris finishing his PhD. He's done and I'm so proud of him.

Well I'm sad we didn't know you were coming -- we could have watched the kids or fed you dinner or put you up for the night.

Congrats on the PhD! We know well that it is often a LONG TIME coming.

Wow - congratulations!! Chris looks so grown-up and regal in his robe. Clarke asked if you gave away your other two kids - I'm guessing you left them at home :) What an exciting time for your little family.

Clark is such a cutie.

Chris, congratulations, you may not remember this but you asked me about radiation from an xray once, well I found the answer...background radiation is 300 mrem/yr in US, a chest xray is 15-20 mrem, pelvis xray 100 mrem, CT scan abdomen/pelvis 1350 mrem, or about 4.5 yrs of background radiation.
